Saxofonist Jon Irabagon is de fase van grote belofte voorbij; in de afgelopen jaren werd hij door Time Out gekozen als een van de 25 New York City Jazz Icons en gooide hij hoge ogen in de Downbeat Critics Polls. Hij maakte naam met de eigenwijze jonge band Mostly Other People Do The Killing en in zijn composities vindt hij zijn eigen weg tussen moderne swing en vrij spel.
